K-6 Subject Matter Expert | Project Manager

Lisa is a certified educator in K-6 curriculum with a diverse background in both print and online academic publishing. Lisa has authored several children's books, developed content for numerous educational series and digital learning projects, spanning multiple genres for a wide variety of educational publishers. She is very proficient in aligning content to various state and national standards, as well as has excellent skills in test preparatory and test bank development work. A seasoned project manager with several years of experience, Lisa has served as liaison between our freelance vendor teams, in-house and client editorial departments, and the production teams to ensure adherence to project parameters and specifications. Lisa has a reputation for being extremely detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate on all projects that she undertakes. As a result of these attributes, Lisa ensures the delivery of superior quality products, despite unforeseen challenges involving highly-complex, deadline-driven environments. She is a strong team leader who strives to motivate, and inspire confidence in her team members to ensure high level performance so as to consistently meet project expectations.  In her spare time, Lisa enjoys watching movies, cooking, arts and crafts, and helping her son, Jaden, who has special needs, reach his full potential in learning and development.  Lisa is also one of the co-founders of The Polka Dot Project, an interactive learning series of Lifelong.Media, which focuses on helping children to develop knowledge, compassion, and understanding for other children with special needs.
