DNP Subject Matter Expert

Aniko is a nurse educator and quality and safety consultant. She began her career as a vocational nurse in Yugoslavia at age 18. She then obtained Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree from Pecs University in Pecs, Hungary, one of the first BSN programs in Hungary. She then received her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatric Nursing at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. In 2015, she earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  As a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, Aniko has a diverse background in bedside nursing. She has experience in not only pediatrics, but also various adult inpatient nursing specialties, clinical student education, professional staff development and orientation, magnet and quality nurse management. She is passionate about educating nursing students and nurses on how to be leaders, by empowering them to improve the quality and safety of patient care. She has contributed to dozens of nursing publications and manuscripts and has presented at numerous conferences.
